Legal jurisdiction to operate as a law enforcement agency[edit]

In the article it says "The Palisades Interstate Parkway Police (PIPPD), is a New Jersey state law enforcement agency, the duties of which are to protect and to enforce state and local laws within New Jersey on all facilities owned or operated by the Palisades Interstate Park Commission" but in the InfoBox it states that the department's jurisdiction is the States of New Jersey and New York but according to their own website they only have jurisdiction in areas that encompass the Palisades Interstate Park in the State of New Jersey. So which is it? Do they have law enforcement jurisdiction only in the State of New Jersey or in New Jersey and New York State? Are there any references that back this up? Otherwise I think any reference to New York should be removed. YborCityJohn (talk) YborCityJohn (talk) 06:08, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
