In need of new photo

We need a more current photo of Palmy for this article.

I tried to use the same photo that is being used on the Thai Wikipedia article for Palmy, but Wikipedia deleted it. I'm finding Wikipedia's rules about images and uploading to Wikipedia Commons to be incomprehensible. Anybody who has some experience with this or has an image that fits Wikipedia's rules on fair use and free sources, please help.

Lead Section and other fixes

I rewrote the lead section a couple days ago. I'm slowly going through the article and trying to figure out what to do with it because most of it was cut and pasted from web pages. I'm doing what I can to fix all of the issues on this article. Please talk here if you have suggestions or concerns.

Changing the Image

Well, I did my best to swap the older image of Palmy with the nicer, more current image from the Thai Wikipedia article. It was nearly impossible to comprehend Wikipedia's process for uploading a file that already exists in Wikimedia Commons, so we'll see how this goes.

English Grammar Corrections

I'm a fluent native English speaker, and I'm happy to assist with building a better article on Palmy. I don't speak or read Thai, but I can help smooth out some of the grammar according to Wikipedia standards. I'll be making some improvements as time permits, but I have other concerns with this article I'd like to help get fixed before I devote too much time.

"This article or section has multiple issues"

The Palmy article has been justifiably tagged for a variety of issues which I'm working to help correct.

Many of these issues could be rectified with a good translation of Thai print material as well as a good translation of available interviews from Thai media.

I do not read or speak Thai, so I am limited, but I can and will assist with my English skills and general knowledge of Palmy's work.

Here are some examples of sources which I cannot interpret:

And surely there are many Thai language websites that would give other biographical information. In order to cite these properly we need as much information as possible. We need to know the date of the interviews and who did the interviews.

Like all these issues, they can be fixed with some good source citation, and by repairing some of the the other language barriers.

I'd like to see this article include as much of a bilingual spirit as possible and look forward to working toward that goal.
