This article is wildly obsolete, quoting Panasonic as a major consumer products manufacturer. it uses references from 20-30 years ago to support its claims, yet Panasonic withdrew entirely from retail consumer electronics following its bankruptcy in the 2000s, and remodeled itself. Despite updating certain recent business activities, the article deliberately avoids any mention of Panasonic filing the largest bankruptcy in Japanese history (2015-2016?), with its plasma division, or its other setbacks. Panasonic (along with other Japanese manufacturers) had to retool and withdrew from the consumer retail market. Is this Wikipedia article written by recent company employees or corporate investors?
