Should this article be merged with Guru-shishya_tradition?

[edit]

In my view looking at the completeness of the article Guru-shishya_tradition and the close similarity it would be justified to merge this article there. Normally "Parampara" would be the word I would use If I were to say Guru-shishya_tradition in one word. Placing it there would help editors as well and avoid duplication of data--it will rather help the editor. --Jyoti (talk) 15:49, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: I oppose the merge on the grounds that something like a [[Krishna and Arjun relation could fall under Guru-shishya_tradition, however, Parampara is also used for Guru Parampara may also refer to a guru tradition of a certain faith such as Nimbarka Sampradaya among several others. I see no reason why it should not be merged and can't make sense of AroundTheGlobe's point.

Neiother do I. I've merged this article to Guru-shishya_tradition, for obvious reasons. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 07:52, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
