Rewritten

[edit]

This article should be rewritten as its only supports the Sibley & Ahlquist taxonomy which is not supported by all taxonomists, see Hoyo et. al. Handbook of the Birds of the World 12 for reference --Melly42 (talk) 14:18, 18 November 2007 (UTC)).[reply]

I second this. It should be looked at by an expert on the Pardalotidae and Acanthizidae. The taxonomy is very confused. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.36.120.150 (talk) 22:20, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HBW 12 is about the Acanthizidae and HBW 13 is about the Pardalotidae. HBW 13 was published this week. So someone who owned this book yet could rewrite the article. I have to wait until November until i got my copy of HBW 13 --Melly42 (talk) 10:18, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Per HBW and the taxonomy we use now I have turned this into a redirect to the article Pardalote. The two are now synonymous, and for preference articles should sit at the common name. Sabine's Sunbird talk 07:50, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
