Updates

I'm working on updating this page so that it includes all of Paizo's subscription products... I'll add in the Modules and Companion later, in addition to some format changes so that there is more information about each book.Drilnoth (talk) 14:20, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Merge with Dragon/Dungeon?

If we have articles about Dragon and Dungeon, I feel it's reasonable to have articles about their successor - especially considering the Adventure Path concept has its own page.

Paizo's press release, the Pathfinder page on their website, and numerous messageboard posts from their employees have stated Pathfinder is a "96-page book printed in a monthly volume". Pathfinder is NOT a magazine. Completeblank 22:26, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Added Image

Paizo has since release community use guidelines which permit the inclusion of certain intellectual property, including the covers of nearly every product they make as long as you include text describing it as such. The community use policy doesn't meet Wikipedia's requirements for license information, since it specifies that only non-commercial and non-derivative works. I think that images will need to be used under fair use, unfortunately. :/ –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 16:18, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Major changes

Okay, I'm planning on making some major changes to this article before the August 13 release of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, which will probably involve gutting the whole thing and starting over from scratch. I just removed a whole ton product summaries which aren't appropriate for an encyclopedia and could be easily seen as advert-like (including those added in my first ever edit). My plan is to be able to rewrite this and expand it now with new content using reliable sources and appropriate style, hopefully taking it to GA-Class. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 16:40, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Rise of the Runelords

Individual adventure descriptions aren't really necessary. It might be a good idea to list a few with a brief (1-2 sentences) description, provided you can offer links to the source, but for now I'm just going to remove the "Rise of the Runelords" section entirely because it's almost half the article's total length and doesn't offer anything useful to a general audience.

Though in the future, be sure to specify the terminology you're using. Again, a general audience wouldn't know what a "PC" or "NPC" is, so the first time you use those terms you should say something like, "In this adventure, the Player Characters (PCs) interact with the Non-Player Characters (NPCs)..."

Adventure Path Summaries / Articles

I think the move of removing the Rise of the Runelords article in its entirety was regrettable, though I can see by looking at it in the history, it certainly could/should have been summarized.

Currently, a list of most of the PF APs in Adventure Path redirect to this article separately, but there are not subsections for each.

I think that having a summary of each adventure path would be beneficial and appropriate to this article. Then, time permitting, each path can be broken out and summaries written of the component adventures.
