The deletion of everything

[edit]

I have no clue why this article was almost completely wiped out. I considered just reverted it back to where it was prior to Labelwagon, but I suppose he/she deserves the benefit of at least a chance to explain... (or someone else will probably revert it all soon, anyway). Chickenmonkey (talk) 21:34, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bias?

[edit]

The "Writers' Guild of America, West" section seems pretty damn biased and cites absolutely no references to back up its bloated claims. Nicholas Ashton (talk) 23:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Much better. Nicholas Ashton (talk) 03:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.186.80.1 (talk) 14:45, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The section still seems very POV. While the L.A. Times deemed the strike a success for the WGA, surely there are other, reputable sources who disagree. HandsomeSam57 (talk) 20:46, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen Aboutman

[edit]

why does this redirect here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.69.83.28 (talk) 01:17, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Stephen Aboutman" was a South Park character used to parody Mr. Verrone. If it's going to redirect here, that should probably be included in the article. HandsomeSam57 (talk) 20:46, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can We Get a Mod In Here?

[edit]

Looking at the history of this article, either Mr. Verrone, or someone impersonating Mr. Verrone, has edited this page several times in order to erase negative opinions on the strike, and replace them with positive opinions. Similarly, someone with an axe to grind against Mr. Verrone has written nothing but negative opinions on the strike, and Mr. Verrone, and placed them into the article. Maybe we can get someone to sort through the mess, try and find a neutral way of discussing Mr. Verrone and the WGA strike? ("Some say the strike was better than sex with Vikki Blows, and everyone got lots of cool stuff and free money. Others say the strike sucked worse than 'Atlas Shrugged', and accomplished a whole lotta nuthin'.".) HandsomeSam57 (talk) 21:01, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
