Fictional

[edit]

This article is fictional and based on a character in the film Seven Years in Tibet.

I'm not able to fully nominate it for deletion, is a registered user able to do this?

I can complete the nomination, but I need more information. We have articles on fictional characters all over the place, so that's not itself a reason to delete. I don't see a whole lot of notability, though, so perhaps that's a concern. If this character's name is associated with the film, then perhaps this could be redirected to the film's article without a debate. If it's the real person, perhaps it could be redirected to their spouse's article (which seems to be more extensive and better referenced). If you can give me a detailed rationale for deleting, then I (or someone else) can complete the nomination. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 13:11, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't a real person - the only references to a 'Pema Lhaki' are movie sites, and Peter Aufschnaiter was not married to anyone during his time in Tibet. This article looks like it was written by someone mistaking a storyline in Seven Years in Tibet (1997 film) for true life. All the references are movie-based so perhaps it might be worth simply changing this page to a fictional movie character page rather than a biography. She was only a very minor character in the movie so probably doesn't deserve her own character page, but I'm unsure of the exact criteria for deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.100.154.10 (talk) 21:01, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
