Pronunciation

Why is the IPA given as '/s:kɹeɪzɪˑnɛˑkɪ/' ???? Is that how HE pronounces it? Or Australians in general? His Polish/Ukranian relatives would certainly not pronounce it that way, but rather something like 'skshiNETSki' (where that first i is a rather dull 'uh' sound) - I'll let some IPA expert work out what that is. On the face of it the current IPA makes no sense given the origin of the name. Stumps 12:51, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
