I created this article and the Strain insulator article when I found the terms in several power-related articles and realized I did not know what they meant. These devices turn out to be pretty important in the history of technology.-Arch dude 00:01, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the photos are way too large, and should be implimented as smaller thumbnails you click on to get to see the bigger picture. This way the text will flow much better too... Bill Meier 15:50, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page is in pretty bad shape, formatting-wise. I've made some attempt to clean up the image sizes, and the non-standard section headings, but more work is needed. —johndburger 19:22, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks almost beyond rescue. Full of badly researched information. Deleting it would benefit Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.70.31 (talk) 11:07, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article contents are too focused on glass and perhaps telegram pin insulators. Needs more variety I guess? 49.144.3.31 (talk) 08:01, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
