I've written this article as a project for an undergraduate nanoscience course. I believe the information is correct, if a bit repetitive. Also all the plasmonics articles should probably be integrated into one article. Drfg90 (talk) 13:00, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They are not actually correct. The equations given assume the size of the particle is small compared to the wavelength, among several other things. While I would say they are the most important relationships, they are certainly approximations. I'll fix 'em when I have time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.91.65.29 (talk) 16:32, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have an even bigger problem with it; right now it is difficult to understand for casual people. I for one don't understand it, and I am not entirely clueless when it comes to science. I believe there needs to be a more layered, templated introduction to the topic, e. g. define these terms such as "plasmon" first, before filling details into the article, in my opinion. 2A02:8388:1641:8380:8D3E:75B1:D972:30C9 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:47, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
