Cool

[edit]

I was going to do its own section in the Dot article, but I thin a summary section and link to the article in the development will suffice now.GunGagdinMoan 19:01, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just saw that, it's good and needed mentioning. However, a lot of the reception for that episode, including her BAFTA nomination, is written in the reception area. Maybe some of that could be cut down, especially stuff about the episode as a whole rather than just Dot or Brown's performance, and the BAFTA nomination has two mentions in that article now. anemoneprojectors talk 19:38, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah we can now focus it on Dot in the reception with the single-hander stuff.GunGagdinMoan 20:26, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I thought you would mention the monologue stuff in the Relationships/Jim section. anemoneprojectors talk 20:38, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Could go there, but I think its notable enough to get its own section, linking to this page. Dont you?GunGagdinMoan 22:53, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Either way is good really. I'll leave it to you. anemoneprojectors talk 23:07, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My recent edit

[edit]

Nice article. I came here from DYK. Because the link to the article for the list of two-handed episodes is used in the article in the Production section, there is no need to include it in a SEEALSO section.

One other thing, EastEnders episodes aren't usually titled (or they weren't last time I watched an episode, ca. early 2006). Is there a reference for this episode's title? Regards, Matthewedwards :  Chat  06:11, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! When I added the See also section originally, the link wasn't in the article, just forgot to take it out. Episodes aren't usually titled, but the script shows this episode's title. anemoneprojectors talk 10:56, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

This review is transcluded from Talk:Pretty Baby..../GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Reviewer: JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:24, 6 April 2010 (UTC) Okay, this is a nice article, well done. There are no Dab links, Checklinks shows no dead or broken refs, the external links are fine and the image has the appropriate rationale.[reply]

A few things to be fixed -

Lead:

  • There appears to be a random The Guardian's floating around in the lower half. I assume another sentence was going to be written or was mostly removed.
At the end of the lead, just before it mentions June Brown's award nomination; The Guardian's Brown received... - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:16, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah. I forgot you were refering to the lead. I searched "guardian" though and didn't find it! anemoneprojectors talk 22:23, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception:

  • Jim Shelley from Daily Mirror praised... - It looks like a 'the' is missing.
  • Reviews were not uniformly positive, however. - Can the 'however' be moved to the front of the sentence?

Award nomination:

References:

  • The work and publisher fields need to all be linked or delinked to keep consistency.
  • Some publishers are missing, eg BBC News is published by the BBC, The Telegraph by Telegraph Media Group, The Stage by The Stage Newspaper Limited, etc.
    • Done, but I haven't used the work field for BBC News as it shouldn't be italic. I actually changed to BBC News Online as I had two references from there, one with "Online" and one without, and BBC News Online seems more accurate. anemoneprojectors talk 22:21, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • The Times is actually published by Times Newspapers Ltd (I only recently learnt that one myself).
