Direct descendant?

[edit]

Where are the sources that can be cited for the claim "He is the 42nd generation direct descendant of Muhammad."? Valley2city 07:57, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You may view any book on the Hashemite family or any of the websites that have the online geneaology of the Jordanian Royal Family (Hashemite).

Simple research is all that is required to verify this. The family history is so well documented that extensive research is not needed.

View, for example, the offical website of the late King Hussein or King Abdullah II both contain detailed family trees.

Additionally, the non-offical but highly informative website Royal Ark is an excellent source of verified information.

reason for reversion

[edit]

I didn't type a reason for the previously reverted edit and since I can't edit the edit summary, here's the reason here: it still needs improvement to leave the stub category. Sure, that's opinion, but stub status is opinion in all cases. Valley2city 22:19, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Potential Marriage

[edit]

The article on Wijdan Ali references a marriage to a "Prince Ali bin Naif", siting the Who's Who in the Arab World 2007-2008 as a source. Top search results for Prince Naif all refer to Prince Asem bin Nayef.

encyclopedia.com explicitly states that Wijdan Ali and Prince Asem bin Nayef were married "In April 1966".

Can anyone else confirm if "Prince Ali bin Naif" and "Prince Asem bin Nayef" are the same person? If they are, then this relationship can be added to under spouses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdctenga (talkcontribs) 00:41, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I can confirm they are not the same person based on King Hussein immediate family tree Mdctenga (talk) 01:01, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
