Inclusion of Gerry Adams in the infobox
[edit]I added Gerry Adams to the infobox list of Brigade Commanders, in line with his inclusion in the body of the article, but his name was quickly removed. Can we talk about whether there are any reasons for excluding him from the infobox but not from the article itself?79.70.242.61 (talk) 16:29, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
- I think the reason Adams would be disputed is because he was never convicted of IRA membership & denied being a Volunteer, whereas Bell, Hughes, Twomey, Cahill, Meehan & McKee all admitted being in the IRA. Although Adams was almost certainly in the IRA, holding ranks such as Battalion O/C, adjutant to Twomey, Brigade O/C, Army Council member & Chief of Staff of the IRA. 18:15, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
