Ethics

[edit]

This article is a gem. Section "Replicas": publicity to David Kortier, to his distributor (Historical Harp Society of Ireland) and to a specific CD, by a tutor affiliated to said Historical Harp Society. Section "Recent Study": references to material not in the public domain, whose detailed content is known to the Author (K Loomis), again affiliate to this Historical Harp Society, and few others only.

Outrageous.

How about some consideration for the ethics of Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.147.4.60 (talk) 23:27, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Advertising!!!!

[edit]

Some pious soul has put a banner on the "replicas" section highlighting that it looks like an advertisement. Well, he/she has been very kind. There is a link to a CD sales page!!!!! I am not removing the section in respect of the (little) information it contains, and as the names and surnames should stay there with the banner as long as possible, as an example of misconduct. 86.186.176.98 (talk) 07:54, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The section was inappropriate and lacks proper sourcing, so I have removed it. MatthewVanitas (talk) 16:05, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
