Problem with article

[edit]

It appears that the article presents another man's account as proven fact. That can't be a good way to present objective information. The article should clarify that there're two competing accounts of what happened, Martinez and McCoy's, instead of presenting McCoy's accounted as factual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.84.200.162 (talk) 04:30, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If the autopsy reports are to be believed, McCoy's shotgun blasts ended this, even though Martinez fired first, and missed with each round from the revolver. The fact he fired first is a testimony to his courage, though.--Kieronoldham (talk) 05:17, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why his own page?

[edit]

This guy is a fame whore who demands credit for Whitman's death. 80.57.2.97 (talk) 14:14, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete page

[edit]

This page should be up for deletion. Why does this person have a personal wikipedia page? Why doesn't Houston McCoy who actually shot and killed Whitman? Isn't this racism? 80.57.2.97 (talk) 14:52, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
