I am creating an entry for Ray Finch. Your contributions are welcome. Peter Finch

I note that the Bot has raised a possible conflict of interest. I am indeed the son of the deceased, but will comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pefinch (talkcontribs) 15:46, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello please note I am not a bot!!Theroadislong (talk) 15:48, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the bot comment. The comment was so fast I assumed it was a bot! Please do not proceed with the entry. I have something neutral being compiled and discussed with the family and pottery community. I have already started the article as you can see, you are free to add to it, but with your conflict of interest I would tread with extreme caution!Theroadislong (talk) 16:38, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see contributions are being made to the page as I work in parallel with the fuller entry. I was hoping to get agreement of the family and various established potters before publishing, but I see a growing conflict between this version and the one growing on-line. So I am rushing to publish. This will mean that I may be violating Wikipedia traditions by deleting some good work already on-line, and I may also being introducing errors of my own due to my rare use of Wikipedia. In particular, the reflist will need attention. Peter Finch — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pefinch (talkcontribs) 13:10, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would STRONGLY suggest you don't put your version up, it would be better for you to make suggestions on the talk page and let others add for you.Theroadislong (talk) 13:19, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops. I see your comment only now. The full entry is there. It is a bit untidy, but I think I managed to combine the best parts of the new and the old. The citations and references need work. If you have time, do your magic on it. Pefinch (talk) 14:13, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is possible that the mention for Ray Finch's father has been usurped by his grandfather. I'm checking with the family. Pefinch (talk) 04:12, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
