Yes. Merge ASAP. Rhun Hir ap Maelgwn is the preferable article name (although personally I wouldn't bother with the ap Maelgwn). There are many Rhuns. Walgamanus 16:49, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Walgamanus. Rhun could mean any number of early Welsh figures (and is still a popular Welsh name). Also Rhun ap Maelgwn Gwynedd / Rhun Hir is NOT a figure of "Welsh mythology" but an attested historical prince who became a figure of legend and folklore. Enaidmawr 14:36, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
