winners
[edit]Something is completely off here, https://www.sfpoetry.com/contests/14contest.html lists a different long-form winner for 2014, but the second place is here listed as the first for 2015. Zirconcode (talk) 14:19, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Either winners should be listed in the article, or there should be a link to a list of the winners (http://www.sfpoetry.com/rhyswin.html). Kdammers 07:33, 24 July 2005 (UTC)
"Unlike most literary awards, which are named for the creator of the award, the subject of the award, or a noted member of the field," Excuse me, but who gives a thin s***? What do they want, an award? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.188.125.208 (talk) 02:45, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Should the winners of the Dwarf Stars awards also be included? They are not "Rhysling" awards but are presented at the same time as the Rhyslings and by the same organization.

- I found that an article already existed at Dwarf Stars Award and so added the list of winners to that page. In looking at the SFPA page about the awards I also found I had the timing wrong. The Dwarf Stars are not awarded at the same time as the Rhysling awards. --Marc Kupper|talk 04:35, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
"and finalists"
[edit]Why are the two lists given titles that include "and finalists? I can't find any finalists other than the winners. Kdammers (talk) 10:17, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- From the edit history it looks like the "and finalists" wording was introduced in this edit
- 21:01, 1 October 2006 Elf (talk | contribs) (start reformatting a la World Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction to allow room for nominees/finalists)
- The World Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction page does have finalists and so the structure used there makes perfect sense. As the project to add finalists to this article never went forward I deleted that from the section headers and also restructured the lists using bullets rather than sub-sections. See here for what the page used to look like before the October 2006 edit. --Marc Kupper|talk 01:23, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
2009
[edit]This Wik page has the 2009 winners, but the official Rhysling page doesn't seem to list any winners for 2009. Whence the information? Kdammers (talk) 23:52, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
