The term "Right of Abode" actually exists only for two places - the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Mentions of other jurisdictions reeks of original research, and this article should be narrowed. Perhaps RoA in the UK should be the primary topic.--Jiang (talk) 16:19, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, my words precisely. My research suggest that it is a specific legal term without general meaning. And since it may be of crucial importance for some, maybe the article should removed and replaced by a disambiguation: Right of abode issue, Hong Kong Right of abode (United Kingdom) (maybe also Domicile (law), Residency, ... ?)
