Deleted inaccurate last sentence
[edit]I deleted the last sentence in this article for two reasons. Firstly, the Sierra Club's reason for opposing Roads and Transit is not because of the tax, it's because of the concerns involving global warming. Secondly, there's no source or evidence of the nonsense about the "largest tax increase in WA State history or America". The entire thing was bias and unfounded. 67.160.106.255 10:10, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Is this entry still relevant?
[edit]The ballot measure described in this entry failed at the polls. It wouldn't seem to have any lasting historical relevance. It should be removed from Wikipedia. 209.166.92.114 (talk) 00:40, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
This has lasting historical relevance because "Roads and Transit" failed, but "Transit only" succeeded the next year, which was an important sign of the political situation. Merge with "Sound Transit" article?
