Interesting read, but too long

Hey there, I rather enjoyed reading this article. It goes into the history surrounding this newspaper very deeply. I commend the writers for their efforts. Unfortunately, the article is much too long for Wikipedia. I believe it took me over an hour to read through (along with various articles it linked to that I needed to read to get a good idea of the context). Try to keep the length of the article in mind. 48-ism

Dahn, you should elaborate on what this 48-ism stands for. I'm specifically referring to this line: "although short lived, it enshrined in popular memory the ethical and cultural commands of Wallachian paşoptism ("48-ism")." I doubt the (neutral) reader is able to make the connection to the Revolution of 1848, even if the event is mentioned in the article.
