Czech or German?

[edit]

The page gives, rather wrongly, the impression that the Rosenberger were Czech instead of German, which is a very distinct likelyhood in the absence of any early record, see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witego_de_Purschitz . Of course, in the end, they were all intermarried, but once they emerge in records, the Rosenberg clan is rather a German than Czech nationalistic noble family. They were not Germans and they, by origins, were Czechs (or Italians, if you give faith to legends). --Yopie 18:54, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

(Karpaten1 (talk) 04:15, 22 April 2009 (UTC)) Then provide sources--the ones I cited indicate Germans.[reply]

Sources are in article and in Neue Deutsche Biographie [1] is nothing about German origin. --Yopie 08:14, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
