HRH Princess Alexandra (of Kent) holds the family order of george VI - this is correctly referenced elsewhere

I'm putting Princess Alexandra back in because she does hold the George VI family order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.7.8.77 (talk) 13:26, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've linked the only existing image I could find. If someone else comes up with a better one (scalable would be nice) then feel free to swap it out. Cheers, AusTerrapin (talk) 06:45, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disregard the scaling issue - I've found out how to fix it. AusTerrapin (talk) 07:01, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Styles upon conferral or styles now/later

Further to my post in the 'Royal Family Order of Elizabeth II', I wish to discuss whether conferees should be styled as they were at the time that the order was presented to them or how they are now (or became later, or, even, how they are best known). For instance, 'Princess Alexandra, The Hon. Lady Ogilvy' certainly was not so styled when she received the order; she did not gain that latter designation until 36 years after George VI, the only person that could have conferred that order, died.

As before, rather than just stand by idly while policy is enforced in the manner that it has been, I figure that the *democratic* way of handling this is to open it for discussion here. ZeroAlpha87 (talk) 17:16, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
