Many reliable published offline and online sources such as this, this, this, this, this, etc., give her birth year as 1947. Her first hit single was in 1967. It seems, on the face of it, unlikely that she was born in 1956. However, I've removed the birth date details per WP:BLP until this is resolved. Ghmyrtle (talk) 16:19, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Only partially, as the 1947 date was still in the infobox - the edit which you linked was from 2014. More pertinently, you removed her birth name as "unverifiable", despite it being specifically cited in what is generally regarded as a reliable source (Whitburn), and not questioned by the article subject. I was clearly not defending her - I was pointing out that you had been in error in giving her a 'final warning' when (apart from editing her own bio, albeit neutrally) she has done nothing wrong here for over three years, a fact which you seemed to have missed. Her only recent edit here removed duplicate information - it did not "insert.. phony info". Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:28, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
