to feed the Trent and Mersey Canal
[edit]Surely it feeds the Caldon Canal not the Trent and Mersey, The T&M is quite a distance from it and the outflow from the lake leads to the Leek end of the Caldon YDAM TALK 11:32, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes and no. It does feed into the Caldon, but the lake and the Caldon were constructed by the T&M company and the lake was intended ultimately to feed the T&M.--Hymers2 (talk) 15:17, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
