What "Rutan Host" implies

[edit]

The article says: The title "Rutan Host" implies a gestalt or group intelligence... I am not aware of "host" carrying this meaning. I believe the meaning intended here is "army", like in the "Heavenly host" and the "Cossack hosts". 71.242.202.228 (talk) 01:59, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point — actually, it's original research for us to interpret what Robert Holmes meant by "the Rutan Host". Perhaps they give great parties.
I've cut back on the speculation and asked for citations for a few bits that sounded plausible but need verification. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 05:11, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
