Does anyone know if Saara Aalto is related to the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto? 81.149.43.187 (talk) 14:07, 6 December 2016 (UTC)

Do you have a reason for asking or is it just that they have the same last name? If the latter, there are a lot of people called Aalto, so it's probably no more likely than her being related to anyone else on that list. anemoneprojectors 15:57, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

English grammar

English isn't my mother tongue but "Aalto now identifies herself as a lesbian." sounds weird. Isn't it "Aalto now identifies as a lesbian." better? The former sounds a bit like it's been translated from another language (e.g. German). Can some native English speaker chime in? Judith Sunrise (talk) 22:26, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

I agree that it sounded weird. I removed the "herself". { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 02:13, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
I googled around and found many books using "She .... identifies herself..". But it seems that you find texts also without "herself". So both are okay in my opinion. Mmuumipappa (talk) 14:09, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
