This Rod Coleman is clearly not the one the article on Rod Coleman refers to (unless he formed a computer company when he was 5).
If you look at the article about Sudden Disruption, he explains who Wilbur was. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.234.174.124 (talk) 17:55, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
Stride convention in 1985
[edit]I believe I attended a Stride convention in Sparks, Nevada in 1985, and I doubt there were more than 60 or 70 attendants (not counting technicians and speakers, who probably got to get in free). There was a lot of hollering and yelling about promising some individuals a big discount if they ponied up and paid some top dollar prices for a few of the models for the Sage Computer. At least one of the conventioneers made a big scene because he felt they had broken a promise to offer their computers at a discounted rate, and saying that he stormed out.
They also divided up the show into special 2 or 3 hour segments where conventioneers could listen to speakers (copyright lawyers) talk about patent protection versus copyright protection, this being a new and unusual way of looking at trade dress issues in software. But these special lectures cost too much, so we passed up on them. 216.99.198.131 (talk) 01:39, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
