Why use the equipments' name instead of the event's name?[edit]

The current version of the "Sailing at the 2024 summer olympics" page prefers the usage of the equipments' name instead of the name of the event used by the Olympic Games website and the World Sailing website. I.e. calling the Men's Skiff event "49er" ? We should prefer the name used by the oficial websites MagaluHater (talk) 04:38, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
