"the act of claiming a breach of a contractual representation or warranty despite having known at the time of the contract that it was untrue."

The use of "it" makes the sentence very confusing, especially as a layman who doesn't know what a "contractual representation or warranty" is, or if they can be untrue. After a few rereads I believe this is a more precise, equivalent statement:

"the act of claiming a breach of a contractual representation or warranty despite having known at the time of the contract that [the claim] was untrue."

Also I think I did this wrong, first time I've used a talk page 2600:100E:B06E:61A1:59B8:709C:46E9:6208 (talk) 07:26, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
