The source in footnote 2 only refers to the church as 's. Celso'. However, the church descrbed (being near the Tiber, Ponte Sant'Angelo, a Papal Chapel, and having a relic of Mary Magdalene, it seems to match. Open to feedback regarding this. Maximilian775, I don't think there's any doubt at all about it – due south of Castel Sant'Angelo and all that. Can I ask you a favour? When you add a citation to an Italian newspaper article, please don't translate the title – readers will have little chance of finding the article unless the original Italian title is given (oh, and a weblink would be helpful too ...). By the way, I'm doubtful whether Il Resto del Carlino should be considered a reliable source – unless things have changed, it's just another name for La Nazione, part of the Riffeser Monti empire, and the kind of tabloid that's handed out free to bars. I found these articles by means of Nexis Uni and they came to me pretranslated; I did my best to try to find original links but had no success - if you can show me a better method of searching I'd be more than open to it.
Regarding the reliability of the sources, I did not know that. Otherwise I likely would not have posted them. I'm not quite sure what you mean with your closing remark of "But I expect you already knew that" -- at face value that seems like sarcasm that's generally unnecessary and goes against WP:CIV.
