Securities and Exchange Commission (disambiguation) โ†’ Securities and Exchange Commission โ€“ Per WP:MALPLACED, already has a disambiguator for the U.S. one. User moved it to current location preferentially per this link. Intrisit (talk) 09:37, 25 October 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). โ€“ robertsky (talk) 18:06, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a case of WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT though. โ€“ robertsky (talk) 09:57, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not convinced that the US institution is the primary topic globally, and would be inclined to carry out the requested move per WP:GLOBALIZE. โ€” kashmฤซrฤซย TALK 12:21, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Intrisit: This is contested; open an RM if you like. This is not a WP:MALPLACED situation because the base name is a primary topic (namely, a primary redirect). And I do think it is correct for it to be a primary redirect (it has a large pageviews lead, is the original agency of that name to my understanding, and is the most significant one).
