From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page should be about the medical phenomenon from which all these artistic works take their name. "Seeing red" - seeing the world as if through a red filter for a few minutes - has been described by many who experienced it in the most extreme situations, especially those of battle. It is usually accompanied by a frenzied level of violent activity, such as quick and successive killing of enemy soldiers, and often by laughter, as well as total disregard for one's own safety and life.
