Length and depth

[edit]

Since there are separate articles for Seven Kingdoms and Seven Kingdoms II, this article needs to be revised to include only information relevant to the original Seven Kingdoms. Also, I feel that its style is too indepth for an encyclopedic entry. --Pagasaeus 23:40, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

True, it is a bit long, but that may because it needs to be broken up. If you feel it needs to be trimmed, go right ahead. Be bold. — SheeEttin {T/C} 20:28, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I saw a game in stores called Seven Kingdoms Conquests, what about that one? 81.233.196.49 (talk) 18:07, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Release years

[edit]

What are the release years of each installment in this series? This basic information is missing from the article --Junuxx (talk) 20:12, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Text on the version differences

[edit]

I'm not sure it's entirely necessary to highlight the differences between an official release and the 7kfans one. At the moment 7kfans is sanctioned to make 'official' releases and I honestly don't see the need for it. For both sakes Enlight could release it officially and the fact that Enlight itself redirects all content to 7kfans.com probably makes it just as official.

I guess I wouldn't see the need to have Ford to say this 'Ford Taurus (1999) (Ford Exhaust Pipe)' and 'Ford Taurus (2005) (FakeCompany Exhaust Pipe)' so I could be wrong. I've opened a discussion @ 7kfans.com myself to see how everyone feels.

The fact that the game was released under GPL -is- noteworthy. SpigotMap 14:00, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, but doesn't that detract from the differences to the game -- the project could infact be considered an extension of Enlight considering they're actually footing the bill and there's open dialogue about the game. I see your point with the GPL, and I'd agree if it were GPLed and 4 years later some random person released something. That's just my opinion though. But I guess there is a point there though. Jlac1024 (talk) 14:04, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I didn't notice in the article where it was highlighted as to who released what. I agree with you, they do not need to be seperate. I thought you was referring to the sentence regarding the subject being GPL'd. SpigotMap 14:15, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not a problem, I figured that's where the confusion was -- sorry about that. I'll wait to hear back from the rest of the project before I change it back as it may be in the best interest to keep them different. Although, having Enlight 'officially' release the new versions on their homepage may not be a bad idea in general anyways. Jlac1024 (talk) 14:20, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like you already did it anyways. Looks fine to me. Jlac1024 (talk) 14:25, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and changed it because of the confusion it may cause. If it was officially released under GPL, then the latest GPL release date is the latest release date. Unless someone comes up with a reason why it shouldn't be, I don't see the reason for two release dates. SpigotMap 15:09, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article rewrite

[edit]

I am a 7kfan, and I do not like this article. Soon I will rewrite it. I don't know who watches this article, but is there anyone who wants to rewrite it with me? Two heads are better than one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raz0rkniaf (talkcontribs) 15:26, 15 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
