When a Jew Seeks Wisdom:The Sayings of the Fathers by Rossel is priceless. It would be of great educative value to Paulists (i.e. Trinitarian "Christians"), Unitarian-Universalists (who don't know their origins), Ayn Randists, MAGA Republicans, and others who need a firmer base in social psychology. Interesting that Rossel studied under myhthologist Joseph Campbell and poet-rabbi Chaim Stern.The Pirke Avot (Ethics of the Fathers) teach us more about Jewish social values than reading what Paulists call the Old Testament. The Pirke teach us to be active shapers of society, unlike BUddhism, Taoism, etc. whichmerely teach usto be calm.
