How can article tell it is usually played in April since it has only been held once? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.238.115.177 (talk) 07:37, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, this seems like nonsense. The article also claim that it's been held every year since 2014, which may be tecnically true, but is pretty poor wording given that it IS 2014. Perhaps the organisers plan to hold it every year (in which case, the article should say that), but I'm struggling to find a source that makes that claim. 193.9.13.138 (talk) 16:18, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
I've done some work to this article. Hope that's helped. Jkmaskell 16:20, 20 July 2014
Perhaps it should be changed from Shamkir chess to the Gashimov memorial? Tournament is going to be held in Baku instead this year. (talk) 05:14, 16 December 2021.
On 7 February 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved to Gashimov Memorial. The result of the discussion was not moved. |
