Possible DYK

[edit]

If we can find more sources for the Malabar Hill water tank, we could have a potential DYK here. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 11:46, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Small Dilemma

[edit]

Small Dilemma. What country do we specify? The founder [Shapoorji] was Indian, his son [Pallonji] was Indian, but acquired Irish citizenship, while, his son [Shapoor] is Indian again. The company is based in India and is privately held. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 11:49, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:AroundTheGlobe gave me this. Cyrus Mistry's entrepreneurial legacy. It gives a lot of info about the history, but I still cannot get an exact date of when the company was founded. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 11:51, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can get an image of a construction site for SPCL. Is that okay? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:40, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Afcons

[edit]

A quick glance at the Afcons website tells you that they've built some cool stuff including a lot of the viaducts and tunnels for DMRC as well as Kolkata Metro tunnel. They've also built the KR Puram hanging bridge, which I have photographed and uploaded to the Commons. Cable Stayed Bridge at Krishnarajapuram. You could get. I can, probably today, get a pic of a construction site of theirs. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:01, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Il put out a req to local Wikipedians, cannot promise, but if anyone is passing by, we should be able to get one. Cheers, Around The Globeसत्यमेव जयते 13:57, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Joyville Homes

[edit]
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was Redirect Joyville Homes to Shapoorji Pallonji Group. It has been a while since a merge was proposed and consensus seems to be that Joyville Homes is not notable by itself, but merits a single line mention in the target article. As that is already present, there is nothing to merge and I am closing this as a redirect. In case Joyville Homes becomes notable in the future it may be recreated as a separate article. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 15:47, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Joyville Homes sub-brand is not of encyclopaedic notability in itself but can be mentioned on the parent company page. AllyD (talk) 08:07, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
