The edit that was recently reinstated includes the phrase "To learn more about TransGo/Gil Younger please visit our website [1]". Coupled with the fact that the editor who wrote that has only made one edit to the entire site, it is clear that a person affiliated with TransGo wrote that addition, which violates WP:COI.

If some of the information was useful, it should be added by independent editors. Reading through it, there were several unfounded claims that promoted the company, such as '"Shift Kits" are utilized throughout the automatic transmission repair industry to insure the successful rebuild or repairing of the customers vehicle.' There is no reference for this, or any of the other added information. --Shirudo talk 23:06, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I understand all of this. "Shift Kit" is what trans go has copyrighted. That's the problem. When it's not made by trans go mechanics refer to these valve body mods as "shift kits". Somehow this needs addressed. Trans go does supply every auto trans shop I know about, however, I'm well aware there are "shift kits" not by trans go that exist. Nevertheless Transgo is well known for their "Shift Kits" and is notable. --Dana60Cummins (talk) 02:58, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
