Description of the shiny package
[edit]In the description pane of the page (blue rectangle on the right of the page), the information relates to shiny for python. However, shiny is both an R package with a GPL 3.0 license and a python framework with a MIT license. Furthermore, it is actually stated that Shiny is written using a combination of R and python. But as far as I know, it is combination of:
- R and web technologies for the R package (https://github.com/rstudio/shiny) - R and web technologies for the python framework (https://github.com/posit-dev/py-shiny)
I must admit that I was looking up shiny online which evidently led me to wikipedia. I could be very wrong but my understanding of the shiny solution is different than what I understood from reading this page - specifically the information panel. 176.175.251.17 (talk) 09:55, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
