Buddhist?

[edit]

No mention of being a Buddhist in the article. Unless it appears in the article this category should be deleted according to WP policy. --Dakinijones (talk) 14:04, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Subpage

[edit]

The text of this article was quite obviously copied from a Toyota company web page, but the overly-zealous concern about copyright infringement is rather a stretch.

Note that a satisfactory alternate version of this stub article now exists -- here. The article is now fully sourced with in-line citations, bibliographic reference citations and external links. This re-written article can easily withstand close scrutiny. It should be substituted for the text which has been deemed questionable. --Tenmei (talk) 21:04, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. There is no need to write a new article when there is history before the introduction of the copyright infringement. We can restore to that point. Sometimes, as in this case, it is also appropriate simply to remove the copied text. The material was clearly pasted on 18 October 2007 by IP contributor 63.87.74.238, here. It is identical at that point. By the time it was tagged it was practically obscured, however. I am merging your version into the article. But I have also created a "clean" version of what existed. That is here. If future contributors wish to incorporate some of that earlier material, they should do so from that clean version in order to avoid inadvertently restoring the infringing text. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:19, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Akio Toyoda

[edit]

Akio Toyoda has already succeeded Watanabe as President and CEO, I am fairly certain, as of June 23 2009? Can we cite other wiki pages (Katsuaki Watanabe) as references? LOL —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.238.246.6 (talk) 15:09, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

About Shoichiro Toyoda Birthdate

[edit]

The article that you posted from the Nikkei Asian Review contains a false representation of the life and "claims" made by Shoichiro as if was compiled not by Shoichiro words himself but by another member who was in no relation to Shoichiro whatsoever. This article was constructed to make as if Shoichro said those things, but in actuality was carefully penned by the personnel working inside the operations on the newspaper column.
