What does Sidhu actually mean?

It is the name of the forefather of the Sidhu Jat clans, Rai Sidhu.--] 12:56, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Query

[edit]

Would someone please provide some evidence for the statement that: "At one time, the Bhattis ruled over the lands of Northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, from Mathura to Ghazni"? Could you also please say when this was the case and who the rulers were? Thank you. John Hill 23:45, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I belong to the bhatti clan. I would prefer if you write defeat bhatti clan. Thanks

Please don’t write defeat Bhattis. Because it should not defame Bhattis. Thanks

<! Indian (Panjab): Sikh name (from Sanskrit siddha ‘accomplished’) derived from the name of a major Jat tribe. The Sidhu trace their origin to Jaisal, a Bhatti Rajput who was founder of Jaisalmer. Among his descendants was Khiwa, who married a Jat woman and had by her Sidhu, the ancestor of the Sidhu tribe.> Sukhe21 (talk) 22:57, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
