Wrong stub-category

[edit]

Umm... death metal? Really? I wonder if the stub was added by a person who has listened to their music. Butcher's Ballroom mostly has vocals best described as classically operatic, not a cookie-monster growl to be heard (not that there's anything wrong... huge Arch Enemy, Bodom, really-anything-Gothenberg, fan, myself). I'll admit I've not heard the new material; it is, after all, a brand-new, unreleased record. The only reason I've not switched it directly over to "metal album stub" is that one track off of "Sing-Along Songs..." is on their myspace.com page that I've not listened to. Whomever next reads this, listens to their preview track, and hears no death-growl or extreme vocals, but instead lyrical or operatic vocals, should adjust this article category. 166.70.232.249 (talk) 00:06, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree completely. I have heard their latest song on Myspace from this album. They have yet to drastically change their sound to something completely unrecognisably DSO and if they did they'd inform us. Seeing as they haven't and there isn't actually any evidence saying that it's a death metal album (but lots of evidence against) I feel quite confident that the stub category should be removed immediately.

There. The umbrella term of "metal" is vague enough to apply to all sub-genres including Diablo Swing Orchestra instead of being specific (and just plain wrong) as Death Metal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazybilby (talkcontribs) 15:59, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't notice the wrong stub sorting. But yeah, Diablo Swing Orchestra are definitely not a death metal band. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 20:34, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article name

[edit]

After having been pointed to a mistake in the article name on de.wp and hence moving it from Sing-Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious to Sing Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious, I would like to move this article as well. Sources are e.g. the official album cover or the band's myspace page where the album title is written without a hyphen. The other spelling seems to have originated in some of the band's older blog posts on myspace; in the more recent posts they've also changed the spelling. If there are no objections, I'll soon move the article. -- Lacrimus (talk) 15:30, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is spelled like that on the album cover, so I'd support the move. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 22:40, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done. -- Lacrimus (talk) 23:22, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
