I don't believe the page "Sowar (magazine)" should be deleted because:

1) It discusses a product which is descriptive and relevant to wikipedia's readers.

2) The product is unique - it has been discussed on several reputable third party blogs for its creative concept as it applies to the Levant (see Sparks Blog)

3) Other very similar magazines exist on Wikipedia's pages, with little or no one disputing their existence (see JPG (magazine) and The Digital Journalist)

4) It conforms to Wikipedia's guidelines of neutrality and proper referencing

Response:

1) Irrelevent.
2) Not good enough.
3) Irrelevent.
4) Given the above, irrelevent.

Just to note it, the speedy deletion tag was placed by a sock puppet of blocked User:Fredrick day. Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.--Abd (talk) 13:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And I've readded it because it's completely applicable. --Calton | Talk 13:39, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Response: Some other reputable and independant third party sources referencing the mag include:

http://chroniquesbeyrouthines.20minutes-blogs.fr/archive/2008/05/29/sowar.html [blog entry for 20minutes.fr - highly reputable and well-known for its independance in the French Press]
http://www.mwoodward.com/cv.html [publication appearance of internationally renowned MIT-grad photo editor & photographer Michelle Woodward]
http://www.lensonlebanon.org/people.htm [references Sowar Magazine next to Rolling Stone Magazine under Simba Russeau]

I'd assume those are enough to remove the 'notability' tag Yerdut746 (talk) 23:03, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
