Disproportionate Benefit?

[edit]

The claim in the introduction that the SALT deduction "disproportionately benefits wealthy and high-earning taxpayers in areas with comparatively high state and local taxes" is backed up by references that seem to be opinion pieces written by left-leaning, if not outright socialist, sources.

Recommend that this statement be qualified to admit its inherent bias. How about changing it to read the following:

Some Commies who think everything should belong to the State also believe that by not further punishing society's winners for working both smarter and harder so they can afford a home, the SALT deduction disproportionately benefits said winners.

Works for me. 2601:283:4F81:4B00:FDF2:4131:8F19:AA8F (talk) 20:35, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
