1876 or 1905?

The lead says 1876, but the category is for 1905. ---Another Believer _(Talk) 20:32, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article also says the work was commissioned in 1892. The 1876 date is American Centennial, but ( I am reading) her first commission in America was the Houston statue for the Columbian Expo in 1893. Carptrash (talk) 01:47, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Statue in Austin?

Unless I'm misunderstanding, the article suggests there are statues in both Austin and Washington, D.C. I went ahead and added some Texas-related categories. Would be best if we can confirm there is a statue in Austin, or remove these categories if the installation did not occur. ---Another Believer _(Talk) 20:19, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The first version (completed 1903) is in the Texas State Capitol in Austin, while the second (completed 1905) is in the United States Capitol in Washington.-Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 17:11, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
