It is good to see Steve Heinemann acknowledged here in the Wikipedia, but unfortunately the basic error has already been committed: His name is misspelled, as the final "n" has been omitted. I am going to attempt to correct that immediately. I also note that Sheridan College (now Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning) is mentioned twice; the first time it is correctly placed in Oakville, Ontario, the second time incorrectly placed next door in Mississauga, Ontario. Although there is now a Brampton campus, the home of the ceramics department is and always has been in Oakville, as far as I know.
For accuracy, I therefore propose to change the location in the second mention of Sheridan College to Oakville, Ontario. The only reason I hesitate to change this immediately is the off chance that there was a brief period when the ceramics department was relocated off the main Oakville campus because of construction, etc. Otherwise, siting the college in Mississauga looks like carelessness. If anyone knows of any good reason why this correction should not be made, please post it here. Dnobel (talk) 16:09, 14 March 2009 (UTC) |
