Sticking coefficients are often mentioned in articles on thin film growth or surface science. The term is not commonly defined within these papers and furthermore, is relatively unknown outside of these fields. Other engineers and scientists may be puzzled by it. Yes, I believe now that it should be transferred to Wiktionary, and I have put that template on the article.
