Using "summer" in the title is ambiguous, as summer takes place during different times of year for the northern and southern hemispheres. I'm not sure what the precedence for this is, but I think a move would be a good idea. Mr. Absurd (talk) 22:38, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IMO the correct name is 2008 South China floods since there is no other flood so far. Actually wrong naming caused the redundancy with the other article. --Matthiasb (talk) 12:15, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed "2008 South China Floods" seems much more accurate. Especially since Summer doesn't officially start until June 21st. These articles should be merged under the more proper heading.--Edwin Larkin (talk) 16:42, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
