Seems like other people's been working on this page besides me, kool! I wanna know who played this game, so leave a message~!

Did some major work, but it still far from complete. I guess it needs more pictures... Anyone keen enough to attempt write-ups of the other games? Nephillim 17:55, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have just finished Symphonic Rain, and I feel the entry has quite much spoiler. For instance, I think we should not mention Arietta is in coma, as it is revealed in later part of the game.
And by the way this is my first time to post stuff in wikipedia, hope this don't violate anything. User: ChargingEve
Well, you may not know this yet, here in wikipedia, we can should not remove spoilers. I know this may get annoying sometimes, but it's a guideline. Also, you can sign your name with ~~~~ ;). -- クラウド668 12:44, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alright thanks for heading the spoiler part out. So we should not remove spoilers, but can we hide them? Say a user want to know more about the story and he has an option to reveal the spoiler. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChargingEve (talkcontribs) 19:05, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, we don't hide spoilers, unlike what I've seen the Japanese Wikipedia do.-- 00:49, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why not use content disclaimers? You know, like "Starting from this point in the article, there will be spoilers" and ending with "From this point onwards, there aren't any spoilers". I remember such disclaimers existing on a few other Wiki pages before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.133.107.158 (talk) 04:58, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Such templates like {{Spoilers}} have long since been depreciated and deleted, thus there is no need to add content disclaimers.-- 06:00, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SR Song Play.jpg

[edit]

Image:SR Song Play.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Temporal inconsistency

[edit]

"first released as a limited edition version on March 26, 2006 for the PC platform as part of a series of "music adventure" games done by its Kuroneko-san Team;[1] the regular edition followed on August 27, 2004. "

I have no idea when the regular edition came out, but I do know that if it follows a release in 2006, it can't travel back in time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.153.122.60 (talk) 17:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That was a typo in the lead, and has been fixed.-- 22:08, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

English translation mention removed - Double standards much?

[edit]

I noticed that the bit of info on the visual novel having been fan translated has been removed for fear of copyright issues - which would be fine, except in articles for other visual novels, like Saya no Uta & Tsukihime, the fan translations are prominently mentioned and referenced, and have not been removed for ages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.144.68.9 (talk) 13:51, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The note on Saya no Uta should also be removed per WP:C, as the website linked gives the game scripts for many games, which violates copyright per unauthorized translation and distribution of said translation of a copyrighted material. The link on Tsukihime was a compromise in order to link to a website that doesn't necessary contain the game's scripts, but mentions that an English translation exists (though does link to Mirror-Moon's site).-- 21:24, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Review

[edit]

I started a "Reception" section, but I'm not confident enough in my Japanese skill to accurately translate this review. So I'll just leave the link here for others to help out. 4gamer.net seems to be a reliable enough source.
